Wales U21 manager Geraint Williams has called up Norwich City midfielder Louis Thompson for their European qualifier against Luxembourg in September.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan to his previous club Swindon Town, clocking up 28 appearances and scoring scoring twice.
Wales boss Williams is hoping to build upon his side's 3-1 victory over Bulgaria in March.
The majority of the squad called up back in March have been re-selected for the qualifier on the fourth of next month.
