Wales travel to play Cyprus in Thursday's European Qualifier in Group B knowing they are within touching distance of a place at next summer's tournament.
Chris Coleman's side arrive in Nicosia leading their section having won four and drawn two of their six matches so far.
And should Wales record wins in Cyprus on Thursday night and then against third-placed Israel in Cardiff on Sunday afternoon, then they will have qualified for the finals of a major international tournament for the first time since the 1958 World Cup.
However, goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey says he and his team-mates are not currently thinking about Euro 2016, but are only focusing on getting the three points at the GSP Stadium.
"We don't want to think about it (qualifying) yet," Hennessey said. "We want to get over the line and it's going to be two difficult games.
"But hopefully we can do the business out in Cyprus and set it up for the home game and beat Israel."
Coleman has been boosted by the news that forward Hal Robson-Kanu (groin) and defender James Chester (hamstring) are fit enough to travel to Cyprus on Wednesday after the duo took part in training in Cardiff.
Charlton left-back Morgan Fox, 21, has received a late call-up to the squad for this week's double header, while centre-back James Collins is also available after the birth of his son over the weekend.
However, the visitors will be missing midfielders Joe Allen, Emyr Huws and Jonathan Williams, as well as full-back Adam Matthews, with injury.
And Wales will also be without both David Vaughan, due to family reasons, and Paul Dummett, who is absent due to fitness reasons.
One player who be lining up for the visitors in the Cypriot capital on Thursday, though, is captain Gareth Bale, with the Real Madrid forward having played a key role in helping to propel his country to the top of Group B.
Coleman, however, has warned the home team that they will be wasting their time trying to intimidate Bale, who has scored five of Wales's eight goals so far in qualifying.
"They gave him a little bit [in their previous meeting] and Cyprus are going to do what they've got to do to get a result," he said.
"But Gareth's a strong boy and he knows how to ride a tackle. He can't see everyone coming, but if he gets a clump I expect the referee - whether it's in Wales or in Cyprus - to deal with it accordingly."
Betting
Sky Bet make Wales strong favourites to maintain their charge towards the Euro 2016 finals with victory in Cyprus. Unbeaten Wales currently head the group but are 11/10 second favourites to finish as Group B winners, while the hosts need to win to maintain any outside hope of qualification. Gareth Bale to score and Wales to win has been Price Boosted from 7/4 to 2/1, while Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey to score first is 8/1 (from 11/2). Both sides have scored in each of their last three meetings so Chris Coleman's side to win and both netting should appeal at 7/2.
