Michael O'Neill has named Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Gavin Whyte and Cameron McGeehan in his squad for their upcoming friendlies.
Leeds goalkeeper Peacock-Farrell has been part of O'Neill's squads before without featuring, while Whyte, who plays for Crusaders in the Irish League, has graduated from the U21s and is expected to move to an English club this summer.
McGeehan has been capped at U21 level too, but turned down a call-up at that age group three years ago and has not featured on the international scene since.
West Brom pair Jonny Evans and Gareth McAuley have been included, but regular captain Steven Davis will not travel to Central America having played just 32 minutes for Southampton since February due to injury.
Kyle Lafferty and Conor Washington are still unavailable and Chris Brint is also missing as he continues to assess his international future.
Northern Ireland face Panama, who will be in England's World Cup group, on May 30 before meeting Costa Rica in San Jose on June 3.
