The Cardiff players were in line to face Azerbaijan and England, but have been axed from the squad due to a reported break of discipline.
The pair are believed to have infuriated Sanchez after returning to their hotel in Country Antrim in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The recipients of the vacancies in Northern Ireland's squad are Burnley's Michael Duff, Motherwell's Andy Smith and Hibernian's Ivan Sproule.
Duff was last involved with his country back in August last year, while Sproule showed his current form with an impressive hat-trick off the bench against Rangers at the weekend.
