Clinton Morrison could be doubtful for Republic of Ireland's clash with Israel.Clinton Morrison could be doubtful for Republic of Ireland's clash with Israel after picking up an ankle injury in training.
The Birmingham City man limped out of training in Tel Aviv and is now a doubt for their big World Cup qualifier against Israel on Saturday.
Kerr could now have to juggle his attacking options around if Morrison is not available, with Damien Duff possibly being pushed up front and Andy Reid coming in on the left.
The Irish troops are in confident mood ahead of the match, with Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane saying the squad believe they can go anywhere and get a result.
"We have every confidence in one another, and that is what we have always been about," said Kilbane.
"There is that inner belief we can get a result. We believe we have enough ability in this team to go anywhere in the world and get a result.
"When I look round at the squad of players we have and see the talent training every day, how much they produce and the quality of their performances, then I am sure we can get the right result against Israel.
"Without a shadow of a doubt we are going there to win the match, but we still have to pay them the respect they are due.
"They are up there on merit and producing good performances on a more consistent basis, so we know it is going to be difficult for us."
