Clarence Seedorf has revealed he would be interested in managing in the Premier League.

The former Netherlands midfielder has only had one brief stint in the dugout when he took charge of AC Milan in 2014.

His spell at the San Siro lasted just five months, but in recent weeks newspaper reports in Italy have linked the 39-year-old with roles at Newcastle and QPR.

"The Premier League is a great competition," Seedorf said. "I would definitely explore this opportunity. If there is a good project I would be happy to consider it.

"There are a lot of rumours but to be linked with important clubs is a nice feeling and it is always better to have options than to not have options at all."
