Boat sails back into Dutch fold

George Boateng and Edgar Davids have been recalled to the Holland squad.George Boateng and Edgar Davids have been recalled to the Holland squad by coach Marco van Basten.
The Dutch coach announced a preliminary 33-man squad earlier this month, but he has now cut that down by 10 for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Czech Republic and Macedonia.
Davids is included for the first time since last November, while Boateng is looking to win his first cap since playing against Austria in 2002.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst is included again after serving a suspension, while Nigel De Jong, Olaf Lindenbergh and Ron Vlaar are all recalled.
Philip Cocu is suspended and has not been included, while Barcelona's Mark van Bommel is the real shock exclusion.
