Czech Republic captain Tomas Galasek is fit to face Holland.Czech Republic captain Tomas Galasek has handed his nation a major boost by insisting he will be fit for the key World Cup qualifier against Holland.
Galasek hopes that the Dutch side will feel their qualification for next summer's World Cup is all but sealed, as he looks to lead his own nation to Germany.
"I have trained with the team today, I will be okay for the match," confirmed Galasek to CTK.
"We are now in a very difficult situation so we have not provoked them before the match. They are in a far better position than our team.
"They see themselves with one leg in Germany but it doesn't change the fact that they will give us nothing for free.
"All in all, they are still very dangerous. On the other hand, we don't have the situation under control.
"But I am certain that we will book the play-off position. Getting there directly? No, it would be very risky to speak that way."
Meanwhile, The Czech team doctor Petr Krejci believes that Vladimir Smicer is unlikely to be fit in time for the game, but that Milan Baros could well play.
"Milan should have to start training from Thursday, otherwise I can't imagine that he would play the match against Holland without having a training session 14 days before," Krejci told Idnes.
"If I have to estimate his chance to play on Saturday, I give him a 70% chance."
