Marcelo Bielsa's side surrendered a two-goal lead in their opening game against Chile on Saturday, but there was no repeat against Venezuela.
Valencia star Pablo Aimar set Argentina on their way with the opener on seven minutes, before Bielsa's men killed off the tie shortly before the half-hour mark.
Chelsea forward Hernan Crespo headed home on 25 minutes, with his strike partner Cesar Delgado netting the goal of the game shortly afterwards.
He skipped through defenders before tucking away a confident third to seal victory.
Chile, who held Argentina at the weekend, had to battle for a 2-1 home win over Peru.
The Peruvians came into the game in confident mood following their weekend win but failed to contain Chile's strikers.
Chievo teenager Mauricio Pinilla headed Chile in front on 19 minutes, but Peru were level shortly before the hour mark when Andres Mendoza converted a fantastic pass from Nolberto Solano.
However, Chile showed the greater resolve and were rewarded when Arturo Norambuena headed home the winner on 70 minutes.
