Which Premier League players have run the furthest this season?

The 2015/16 Premier League season is 25 games old, with more than 2000 minutes of football played, but who has the most miles in their legs?

The latest round of league matches saw the first player pass the 300km mark for the season.

That player was Bournemouth midfielder Andrew Surman, who has covered 303.85km while playing every minute of every game for the Cherries. The 29-year-old passed the landmark in the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.

Another midfielder, Gareth Barry, ranks second with 297.64km after being an ever-present for Everton this season.

West Brom's Craig Dawson (278.57) and Darren Fletcher (271.46) both make it into the top five, either side of Watford's Etienne Capoue (278.43).

There is no representation from Leicester, Tottenham, Arsenal or Manchester City in the top 10, but Spurs striker Harry Kane is ranked 11th after covering 267.25km.

Tottenham also have three players in the top 10 when it comes to average distance per game (at least 20 appearances).

Marc Albrighton has covered the most ground for leaders Leicester, ranking 19th overall with 254.19km at an average of 10.85km per game.

Nacho Monreal (249.54) has covered the most distance for Arsenal at an average of 9.68km per game, while Cesc Fabregas and Juan Mata lead the way for Chelsea and Manchester United, respectively.

Fabregas, who has completed just 13 of the 21 games he has started this season, has clocked up 240.9km at an average of 11.17 per game.

Mata also has an impressive average of 11.14 after covering 248.94km for Man Utd.

Manchester City's highest-ranked player is defender Bacary Sagna at 67th in the league, with 222.47km covered at an average of 9.44 per game.
