League 1 highflyers Gillingham have been handed a home draw against Yeovil in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy quarter-finals.

Last year's Southern Section semi-finalists take on the League 2 strugglers at Priestfield next month after seeing off 2008-09 winners Luton 2-1 on Tuesday night to reach the last eight.

Justin Edinburgh's Gills are looking for their maiden trophy victory and Saturday's draw has handed them a good chance of progressing to the final in April.

Wayne Burnett's fourth tier strugglers Dagenham have also been handed a home draw as they take on League 2 rivals Oxford at Victoria Road.

The Daggers edged past Stevenage to advance earlier this week and face a tough tie against a side on the back of a five-match undefeated run.

Elsewhere in the south, Southend are at home to Bristol Rovers and League Two leaders Plymouth host Millwall.

In the Northern Section, Wigan were drawn at home to Blackpool in an all-Lancashire tie between the League 1 rivals.

Both teams have won the trophy twice in the past, with the Seasiders last triumphing in the 2002-03 season, although they are currently battling at the bottom of the table while Gary Caldwell's Latics, who saw off Crewe 3-2 to progress on Tuesday, are currently unbeaten in their last five.

In an all-Yorkshire fixture, League 1 rivals Bradford or Barnsley host fourth-tier York after their second-round match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Valley Parade and will be played on Tuesday.

Elsewhere, Rochdale host Morecambe at Spotland and Sheffield United travel to lowly Fleetwood as last year's quarter-finalists, who saw off Notts County with a comfortable 5-1 win on Tuesday, seek their first trophy title.
