Kevin Bond is to work with Harry Redknapp once again after being named assistant manager at Birmingham.
Bond, 59, has signed a one-year deal and will be working with Redknapp for the fifth time, the duo having previously teamed up at Portsmouth, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur and QPR.
Redknapp took charge at Birmingham towards the end of the season and masterminded wins in their final two matches which ensured they avoided relegation to League One.
He subsequently signed a one-year deal to continue for the 2017/18 campaign and has now assembled his backroom team, which comprises Bond, Paul Groves (first team coach), Kevin Hitchcock (goalkeeper coach) and Lee Carsley (U23s and development squad).
The Bond family has some previous history at St Andrew's - his father John having managed the club for 16 months in 1986-87.
Bond had a four-month spell as Aston Villa assistant manager last season, either side of stints as boss of Hong Kong Pegasus in the Hong Kong Premier League.
