Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure says he is wanted by Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal this summer.

The 25-year-old former France U21 has had an excellent season for the Hornets under both Marco Silva and new boss Javi Gracia.

Liverpool will sign Naby Keita when the next transfer window opens but Emre Can is out of contract, while Spurs have been scouting for long-term Mousa Dembele replacements.

Sky Sports football expert and ex-Gunner Charlie Nicholas also said in January he wanted his former side to sign a defensive midfielder and said: "I'd be more interested in somebody like Abdoulaye Doucoure (than Steven Nzonzi), who could play a deeper role quite nicely for us."

Doucoure was asked a guest on French media channel Telefoot: "The French media understands clubs like Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal are following you - what is the objective?"

And he replied: "It's true that these clubs are interested in me. But I am at Watford and my focus is on finishing the season well and to maintain their Premier League status.

"After, when the club and I make the decision to make the next step, then that will have to be agreed but, for now, I am focused on Watford."
