Arsene Wenger has spoken of his admiration for former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique but will have no say in his replacement at Arsenal.
Wenger announced last week that his 22-year spell at Arsenal will end this summer and the search is already underway to find his replacement.
As it stands, Wenger has just six games left as Arsenal manager, beginning with the Europa League semi-final first-leg against Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
Patrick Vieira, Mikel Arteta and Luis Enrique are among those thought to be in the running to be Wenger's successor.
When asked what he thought about Luis Enrique's coaching style, Wenger said "I have a high opinion of him", but the Arsenal boss made it clear that he does not want to influence the process of appointing his replacement and confirmed he will have no input.
"It is not strange to me," he said. "I understand that people want the future is about and for me that is completely normal."
Wenger also addressed his own future for the first time and insists that this will not be his last job in football, but admits he may take a break from the game.
Arsenal's former vice-chairman David Dein told Sky Sports News on Monday that he thinks Wenger will have "no shortage of offers" to manage again, but the Frenchman told the media on Wednesday that he will not be considering other roles until he has left the north London club.
Asked if he was happy for Dein to be passing on his phone number, Wenger said: "They will find my phone number, don't worry.
"Honestly, I don't know what I will do. Will I take a little rest? I will continue to work that is for sure.
"My pride has always been to give my best where I am employed until the last day of my contract.
"At the moment I am just focused on that."
