Kyle Walker-Peters signs new Tottenham deal until 2021

Kyle Walker-Peters has signed a contract extension with Tottenham, keeping him at the club until 2021.

The 20-year-old has made nine appearances for Tottenham this season, and was handed a start by boss Mauricio Pochettino for the Premier League final-day 5-4 triumph over Leicester.

He was also named man of the match when he made his Spurs debut - replacing the injured Kieran Trippier - during the 2-0 win over Newcastle at St James' Park on the opening day of the season.

Walker-Peters said: "I'm absolutely delighted to sign my new contract. It's been a great year for me and I really do look forward to what the future holds."

The full-back played a starring role during Sunday's thriller at Wembley, providing two assists for Erik Lamela.

He is a product of Tottenham's academy and his previous deal was due to expire in 2020. Walker-Peters was also involved in the England squad that won the U20 World Cup in 2017.
