Arsenal target a defender from the Bundesliga, as we round up the latest rumours on Wednesday, May 16.

Arsenal's head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is an admirer of Freiburg defender Caglar Soyuncu, according to Football London.

Apparently, the 21-year-old has his heart set on a move to England and Arsenal are one of several clubs in discussions with Freiburg over a potential deal.

"The main objective of the player is to play in the Premier League, that I can tell you at the moment," his agent, Mustafa Dogru, told Football London.
