Manchester United are ready to table an offer Porto cannot refuse for promising full-back Diogo Dalot, as we round up the latest rumours on Thursday, May 31.

The Times report that United have already held talks with the Portuguese champions over the 19-year-old with Jose Mourinho identifying him as a potential long-term replacement for Antonio Valencia.

Dalot has a £17.5m release clause that becomes active on Friday, but United are reportedly keen to pay over the odds to finalise a deal today.

Mourinho has urged United to increase their summer transfer budget to £200m in order to sign Gareth Bale, according to The Sun.

Bale would favour a move to United but Mourinho has spoken with United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about the need to reassess the previously agreed transfer funds.

Spanish media outlet AS are reporting that United are ready to make a £121m bid, but The Independent claim Bale is willing to take a pay cut in order to join Premier League rivals Tottenham.

Sky Sports reported on Wednesday that United are keen on signing West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic, but the Hammers will settle for nothing less than £50m for Austrian international.
