Premier League announces full fixture list for 2018/19 season
Thursday 14 June 2018 14:33, UK
Watford kick off their 2018-19 Premier League season on home turf at Vicarage Road as they host Brighton and Hove Albion.
The fixtures have been relatively kind to Javi Gracia's side as four of their opening five games of the season are to be played at home, although that run includes games against Tottenham and Manchester United on September 1 and 15 respectively.
There may be just under 200 miles separating their home grounds, but Watford and Everton could become unlikely rivals this season following the latter's appointment of Marco Silva earlier this month. Silva is likely to be in for a frosty reception from his former fans when he takes his Everton side to Vicarage Road on February 9.
Watford's Boxing Day fixture sees them entertain Chelsea at Vicarage Road while they are also at home on the final day of the season against West Ham on May 12.
