6-0 v SLOVAN BRATISLAVA
White Hart Lane, 14 March 1963 - UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, quarter-final, 2nd leg
Bill Nicholson's Tottenham side were drawn against Czechoslovak Cup winners Slovan Bratislava in the last eight of the Cup Winners' Cup.
Travelling to Czechoslovakia for the first leg, Spurs were soundly beaten 2-0.
But the return leg in North London nine days later was a different story and 61,000 saw a Jimmy Greaves-inspired Tottenham hammer six past the visitors without reply.
5-1 v ATLETICO MADRID
Feijenoord Stadion, May 15 1963 - UEFA Cup Winners' Cup final
Winning both legs of their semi-final against the Yugoslav Cup winners set up a Cup Winners' Cup final against defending champions Atletico Madrid.
The game was played in Holland and Spurs were 2-0 up by half-time with goals from Greaves and John White. Although Madrid scored a penalty just after the interval another goal for Greaves and a brace from Terry Dyson secured Tottenham the trophy, becoming the first British team to win a major European title in the process.
2-1 v WOLVES
Molineux, May 3 1972 - UEFA Cup final, 1st leg
Spurs made the inaugural UEFA Cup final and it was made an all-English affair after Bill McGarry's Wolves had also navigated their way to the two-legged game.
Nicholson was still in charge of Spurs and a late Martin Chivers goal gave his side an invaluable first-leg victory after Wolves skipper Jim McCalliog had cancelled out Chivers' opening strike.
Tottenham won the first ever UEFA Cup by holding Wolves to a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane two weeks later.
1-1 v ANDERLECHT
White Hart Lane, May 23 1984 - UEFA Cup final, 2nd leg
Keith Burkinshaw was in charge of Tottenham when they won their second UEFA Cup title.
Anderlecht were the opposition this time and a Paul Miller goal in Belgium looked set to give Spurs a win in the first leg before a late equaliser set up a tantalising second leg back in England.
This time it was Tottenham's turn to score an equaliser deep into the second half as Graham Roberts' goal levelled the tie which was settled on penalties. Arnor Gudjohnsen, father of former Tottenham loanee Eidur, missed the deciding kick.
3-1 v INTER MILAN
White Hart Lane, November 2 2010 - Champions League group stage
The defending Champions League holders travelled to White Hart Lane two weeks after an enthralling 4-3 win and found a Spurs side desperate to return the favour.
Rafael van der Vaart opened the scoring inside 20 minutes before Peter Crouch doubled Tottenham's lead on the hour mark. Samuel Eto'o pulled a goal back for Inter with 10 minutes to go but there was still time for Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko to add another goal for the home side.
