Transfer news: Crystal Palace's Ryan Inniss tipped for Championship loan switch

Crystal Palace youngster Ryan Inniss could be set for a loan move to the Championship as he continues to push his way into Tony Pulis’ plans.
Inniss spent time on loan at Gillingham last season but sustained a hamstring injury in February and has only just begun to step up his comeback.
Another temporary spell in League One is a possibility but the 19-year-old has been making such good progress that academy boss Gary Issott hopes he will secure a deal with a club in the second tier.
Issott believes Inniss has a bright future at Selhurst Park and will remain with Palace while he continues his development.
“He’s come back really well from his injury to his hamstring,” he told the Croydon Advertiser.
“He’s been really good and it’s a big year for him. If he can’t push himself in with the manager’s plans we hope that he might be able to get a Championship or top League One club.
“He’s an U20 player at the moment and at 16 we convinced him to stay. We told him he’d be in our team at 18 or 19 and now he’s an U20.
“The club’s gone on a level but I’d still expect Ryan to stay if we were a Championship club so I just hope he can attract some attention and prove himself at that level.”
