Guillem Balague and Graham Hunter look back on the opening weekend of La Liga

Guillem Balague and Graham Hunter look back on the opening weekend of the new La Liga campaign on Revista Bitesize and discuss what has changed with last season's top three of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Champions Barcelona opened up the defence of their title by easily beating Real Betis 6-2 at the Nou Camp on Saturday night, with Uruguay forward Luis Suarez scoring a brilliant hat-trick for the Catalans.

As if not to be undone, however, rivals Real responded 24 hours later with an equally impressive display as Zinedine Zidane's side cruised to a 3-0 victory over Real Sociedad at the Anoeta.

Completing last season's top three, Atletico were surprisingly held to a 1-1 draw by newly-promoted Deportivo Alaves at the Vicente Calderon, despite the home team taking the lead through France striker Kevin Gameiro's 90th-minute spot kick.
