Josef Martinez scored a hat-trick as Atlanta United fought from behind three times to earn a 3-3 home draw against Orlando City on Saturday in front of the biggest crowd in Major League Soccer history.

Dom Dwyer twice put the visitors ahead - in front of 70,425 spectators - at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Cyle Larin did it for a third time just before the hour, but on each occasion Venezuela striker Martinez restored parity. It was his second treble inside a week, and his third of the season.

Tony Tchani's stoppage-time equaliser earned Vancouver a 2-2 draw against his former club Columbus Crew.

Fredy Montero had put the Whitecaps ahead on 15 minutes only for Ola Kamara and Kekuta Manneh to turn things around within four minutes.

Real Salt Lake got themselves back into play-off contention with a 2-1 triumph over the Portland Timbers at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Jefferson Savarino's fine curling finish on 61 minutes proved to be the match-winner for RSL, after their early opener scored by Albert Rusnak had been cancelled out by a header from Diego Valeri - on target for an MLS record eighth-straight game - early in the second half.

Toronto FC continued their march towards the Supporters' Shield with a 4-0 rout of the Los Angeles Galaxy at Stubhub Center. Drew Moor opened the scoring after 24 minutes, following up Victor Vazquez's quickly-taken free-kick, with Tosaint Ricketts grabbing a brace before Vazquez sealed matters.

Dominique Badji scored two minutes from time to earn the Colorado Rapids a 1-1 draw against New York City FC at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Tommy McNamara had put the visitors ahead with a 25-yard effort into the top-right corner from Andrea Pirlo's pass on 19 minutes.

Danny Hoesen's neat turn and shot in the 33rd minute proved enough to secure the San Jose Earthquakes a 1-0 triumph over the Houston Dynamo at Avaya Stadium, while the Seattle Sounders stretched their club-record unbeaten streak to 13 matches with a 0-0 draw against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium.
