Jack Wilshere says England are happy with their goalless draw with Ukraine and is confident they can qualify for next year's World Cup.

On a personal level, Wilshere believes his experience in Kiev will stand him in good stead in the future. Despite the hype surrounding the 21-year-old, Tuesday night's clash was only Wilshere's 10th appearance in an England shirt and his first competitive international away from home since a win over Wales in 2011. "It was my biggest international game, my first big one away," he added. "It was a hostile atmosphere. It was good for me. It was a good experience. I had a lot of experience around me with me with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard and they helped me. "It always helps when you have that experience in your team. You can't just give that to anyone. It comes over time. They have been there and done it and they showed that."
