The match was Luiz Felipe Scolari's last before Portugal's opener against Greece next weekend and the home side cruised to an easy win against their Baltic opponents.
Fernando Couto (pictured) put the Portuguese in front with a third-minute header from a Luis Figo corner before Paris Saint Germain striker Pedro Pauleta made it 2-0 ten minutes later.
The Lithuanians got one back from the penalty spot in he second half, as Donatas Vencevicius converted his spot kick after Beto mistimed a tackle in the box on striker Robertas Poskus.
However, with nine minutes remaining, Nuno Gomes made it 3-1 to the home side before Tottenham Hotspur striker Helder Postiga headed home a Miguel cross in the first minute of injury time to complete the lopsided victory.
The result will give the hosts much confidence before they open Euro 2004 next Saturday against Otto Rehhagel's Greece in Porto.
