Carlisle defender Frank Simek has agreed a new one-year deal, with the option of a further year.
The 27-year-old began his career at Arsenal before enjoying five seasons with Sheffield Wednesday. He moved to Brunton Park in 2010 and has made over 100 appearances for the Cumbrians. "Frank is another one we are delighted to have on board with us," manager Greg Abbott told the club's official website. "He has played some excellent football since he joined us and he is a really hard worker who gives everything for the team. "He's exactly the type of character and player we want at this club and we're looking forward to working with him again next season."
