Oldham to move forward with other targets after Clarke snub
Sky Sports understands Oldham are ready to turn their attention to other striking targets after seeing their bid for Charlton frontman Leon Clarke turned down.
The promoted Addicks rejected an offer from the League One club earlier this week and Oldham will not be pursuing their interest in the 27-year-old.
The Latics will instead move forward with other targets as manager Paul Dickov looks to improve his striking options.
They are keen to strengthen after it was confirmed frontman Shefki Kuqi will not be returning to Boundary Park next season.
