Solbakken determined to keep hold of talented teenager

Sky Sports understands Wolves have offered young prospect Zeli Ismail a new and improved contract at Molineux. Ismail, who has come through the ranks at Molineux, is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in England after catching the eye for Wolves and England's youth sides. The 18-year-old is in the final year of his deal and he is thought to have rebuffed the club's opening offer of a new contract. However, Wolves are determined to keep hold of their prized asset and have tabled Ismail a new and improved three-year contract extension. A host of Premier League clubs have been keeping tabs on the Ismail's situation with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Fulham, West Ham and Queens Park Rangers all credited with an interest. But Wolves are determined to fend off his suitors by securing the winger's services on a new long-term deal.
