Reports continue to suggest that the striker will soon be heading home, with former employers Inter Milan and their cross-city rivals AC said to be keen on doing a deal.
Balotelli's camp have attempted to distance the 22-year-old from such rumours at regular intervals, while City boss Roberto Mancini has always maintained that the youngster remains an important part of his plans - despite dropping him for last weekend's home date with Tottenham.
That is still the official line coming out of the Etihad Stadium, with Balotelli's representative of the opinion that no move will be made in the foreseeable future.
"He feels really good at City," Mino Raiola told Mediaset.
"There is no crisis between Mario and City or between Mario and Mancini. What the papers write is garbage. Not being happy at being in the stands is completely different to wanting to leave.
"We plan to stay at City for at least another year-and-a-half. Even if we did decide to leave tomorrow, I don't think there are any clubs in Italy that could sign him."
AC Milan, though, continue to stoke the transfer fire, with president Silvio Berlusconi admitting on Friday when asked about the Balotelli speculation: "I like him a lot."
