Swindon have completed the signing of former Newcastle striker Nile Ranger on a one-year deal.
The 22-year-old, without a club since leaving Tyneside by mutual consent back in March, has the option of a further year's extension. Ranger's five years with Newcastle, which saw him score just three times in 62 appearances, were blighted by a series of off the field incidents. He will go straight into the Robins' squad for the trip to Shrewsbury on Saturday.
