Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa has revealed that he is ready to leave the club.

The 23-year-old Brazilian has been linked with a move away from the Ukrainian side all summer due to the current political instability in the country.

Costa is reportedly on the radar of a number of European outfits, including AC Milan, and he himself has made it clear that he is "ready" to leave Shakhtar.

"If an offer came, I would take it immediately," he told La Gazzetta Sport. "I am grateful to Shakhtar for what they gave me, and if I stay, I will give my 100%.

"But I think I am ready for a big club. Me at AC Milan? I would like to follow the steps of Ronaldinho.

"Moreover, playing in a league like Serie A, La Liga or the Premier League, I would have more chances of being called up to the Brazil national team."

Another of Shakhtar's Brazilian stars, Fernando, has confirmed that there are talks going on between his agent and Italian club Fiorentina.

"Yes, there is the possibility that I may play in Italy with Fiorentina," the 22-year-old midfielder told Sky Sport Italia. "We will see how it goes."

Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu added: "Yes, Fiorentina have a strong interest in Fiorentina and the offer is concrete, but their offer is not much. AC Milan are also interested in him."
