Burnley have agreed a deal to sign striker Jelle Vossen from KRC Genk for an undisclosed fee.

The Belgium international will join the relegated Clarets on a three-year contract, subject to the 26-year-old passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

Vossen spent last campaign at Championship rivals Middlesbrough and scored nine times in 40 appearances during a season-loan loan.

He came through the youth ranks with Genk where he scored 105 times in 244 matches for the Belgian Pro League club.

Vossen, who was also linked with a move to Celtic, will join his new team-mates on their pre-season camp in France.
