The only meeting between two European Cup winning clubs to take place on Saturday will be in the Sky Bet Championship when Nottingham Forest host Aston Villa.
Two-time winners Forest have been out of the top flight since 1999 but this is the first time 1982 winners Aston Villa have played second tier football in 29 years.
The 2-2 draw between the sides in the reverse fixture in September was the first lower-league meeting between two former champions of Europe.
Not only that but Forest and Villa are also the only two of the 22 teams to have won the European Cup to currently be playing outside of their respective domestic top division.
Moreover, only struggling Bundesliga giants Hamburg are currently outside of the top half of the table in their home country.
No fewer than eight European Cup winning clubs sit top of the table and a further eight sides are among the top four in their homeland.
Manchester United, Marseille and seven-time European champions AC Milan are all further back but it is Forest and Villa who stand out - both outside the top 30 clubs in England.
