Reading have signed Northern Ireland midfielder Oliver Norwood from Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Royals and goes straight into the squad for the trip to Nottingham Forest this Saturday.

Manager Nigel Adkins said: "I'm delighted that we're moving forward and that Olly is the fourth player we're bringing into the group.

"He's a very good player and passes the ball ever so well. He had a good upbringing at Manchester United, he's got lots of games under his belt in the Football League and is a good age. At 23, he can only improve in our environment.
