Sao Paulo starlet not sure he will stay in Brazil

Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas Moura has admitted he cannot say for certain that he will stay with the Brazilian club until his contract runs out in 2014, as he does find the prospect of playing in Europe appealing. The 19-year-old midfielder is one of the most exciting young players in South American football and has reportedly attracted the attention of several clubs including Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan. Sao Paulo have previously insisted he is not for sale, but Lucas believes there is a chance that he could be on the move this summer. "I cannot confirm my stay until 2014 because there is a lot of time and you never know what will happen tomorrow," the youngster told Folha de Sao Paulo.

Thinking

Lucas is aware of the transfer talk he has generated with his performances for Sao Paulo, but is trying not to get too carried away. He said: "I open internet and see that Inter Milan, Real Madrid and I don't know who else are coming for me with loads of money. "Of course I'm thinking...But, I cannot let it go to my head because I am a quiet man with my feet on the ground."
