Allen delighted with loan signing

Cheltenham have drafted in Wolves youngster Ashley Hemmings on a one-month loan deal. The highly-rated striker has been a regular in Wolves' reserves, but he has failed to make the breakthrough into the first-team. Wolves chief Mick McCarthy is happy to loan out Hemmings so that he can gain some valuable first team experience. Hemmings is expected to go straight into the Cheltenham squad to face Millwall on Tuesday night and Robins boss Martin Allen believes the 18-year-old will prove a valuable addition to his squad. "Ashley is a talented young player and I'm looking for him to add something to our team over the next few games," Allen told the club's official website.
