Ogogo only bothered by results

Dagenham captain Abu Ogogo insists Saturday's 1-0 win over Fleetwood was all about points rather than the performance.

The Daggers' narrow home success over their high-flying opponents came courtesy of Sam Williams' injury-time penalty, with the last-gasp spot-kick coming at the end of a lacklustre encounter. Nevertheless, it saw Dagenham get back to winning ways after their 3-2 defeat at Burton and means, after a slow start to the season, John Still's side have now lost just two of their last 12 league matches. Ogogo said: "It was a good result, the performance wasn't the best, it probably wasn't the best game. We played Rotherham at home two weeks ago and it was a very good performance (winning 5-0) but Saturday we just had to grind out a result and get the three points. "I'd take playing badly every single game if it means getting three points, but of course you'd like to play well and get three points. Sometimes it's about getting a result and we did that on Saturday." Ogogo added: "Even when we weren't picking up results at the beginning of the season I thought our performances warranted results, we were playing well. And then all of a sudden we clicked, we're on a good little run."
