Dagenham and Redbridge have taken Histon forward Lewis Taaffe on trial as they look to bolster their attacking options.

The 21-year-old played over an hour in the club's friendly victory at Great Yarmouth on Wednesday evening as Wayne Burnett's League Two side continue to run the rule over the striker.
Taaffe has an added incentive to impress after Histon manager Brian Page informed his young front man that the club may not be able to afford to retain his services.
"Taaffey knows that if there's a player we really like then we might have to sign him, and then there might not be any more money," Page told the Cambridge News.
"He's aware of that, but if it doesn't work out for him at Dagenham and we've still got the money then we'd want him here because he's a great person and a real asset to the football club."
Taafe scored seven league goals for Histon last year and has accrued a total of 17 in 96 appearances in all for the Stutes.
