Morecambe have secured the services of midfielder Andy Fleming for next season at the League Two club.

Former Wrexham man Fleming, currently sidelined until the summer with a knee injury, has spent two years at the Globe Arena and the club have taken up the option for a further year included in his current contract. Additionally, Shrimps manager Jim Bentley has confirmed the club are also in talks with defender Andy Parrish over an extended stay. Bentley told the Morecambe Visitor: "We have seven games left this season and I want us to finish with a flourish, but I am working hard towards getting as much of the squad together for next season as soon as possible. "I am a big admirer of Andy Fleming and think he is a player with a big future ahead of him. "We are also in talks with Andy Parrish who is another we would love to have with us next season. He has grown as a player with the club and is another young player who has come a long way with us and will continue to improve."
