Alessandro Del Piero would be interested in a move to England one day.Juventus star Alessandro Del Piero has revealed he would be interested in a move to England one day.
Del Piero, who became the club's leading goalscorer in their history in midweek, has admitted he is considering his long-term future with the Bianconeri.
The Italian international has struggled to hold down a place in Fabio Capello's starting line-up this season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Trezeguet ahead of him in the pecking order.
Del Piero conceded he is not happy with his lack of first team action and would like to be playing more.
"Some days it is hard and other days it is less hard [not playing]," Del Piero told Gazetta Dello Sport.
"I am not a saint, but I've always tried to reflect and protect my job.
"I've told myself not to make problems that could be bad for the team.
"The situation is feeling good to everyone. Juve win, I score and I play in a good way.
"But despite being happy with my choices I would like to play more. My aims are high."
The 31-year-old revealed relations with Capello have improved after a somewhat difficult time between the pair.
"The feeling has improved because we know each other better," added Del Piero.
"It doesn't mean we share everything. But now we know how to communicate."
The Juventus icon admitted if he was to leave the Turin giants he could only move abroad as he could never imagine playing for another Italian side.
"One thing I would never do is play for another Italian side," said Del Piero.
"I have the curiosity to go abroad. In England there is a taste for good football, whilst Spain is fascinating for champions and is more technical.
"In June I took a decision and I when I took it I didn't put it under discussion.
"It's not easy for me thinking of a future away from Turin because I feel myself always playing for Juventus.
"I was born a Juve fan. Anyway, this isn't the moment to talk about it.
"Until June I'll stay at Juve, then we will consider the situation."
