Napoli playmaker calls for an end to speculation

Marek Hamsik has sought to bring an end to the constant speculation regarding his future by fully committing himself to Napoli. The Slovakia international continues to be linked with a number of clubs, despite expressing a desire to remain in Naples. Paris St Germain are the latest club to be touted as a possible destination for Hamsik, with reports suggesting a January switch could be on the cards. The 24-year-old playmaker is keen to stop the rumours before they get out of hand, with the summer transfer window having only recently closed. He is adamant that he has no intention of leaving Napoli any time soon and hopes he will be given the chance to focus on his football.

Crazy

"It's crazy," Hamsik told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "The transfer market has just ended and immediately talk begins about future negotiations. "How do I respond to (PSG general manager) Leonardo? I say I will not be moving. Not in January or at a later date. "I'm happy in Naples and I want to win with Napoli. I'm extremely happy here and I do not want to discuss this subject again."
