Napoli have not received offers for Ezequiel Lavezzi, Edison Cavani or Marek Hamsik and they are not for sale, says the club's president.

Club president insists three stars are going nowhere this summer

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says the club have not received any offers for star trio Ezequiel Lavezzi, Edison Cavani and Marek Hamsik and maintains they are not for sale. The players, nicknamed the 'Three Tenors' in Italy, have all been linked with big-money moves away from the Stadio San Paolo, with Manchester City thought to be keen on all three. But other than interest in Hamsik from Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti "a few years ago", De Laurentiis insists no offers have been made for any of the trio. "Lavezzi, Hamsik and Cavani? I cannot give them away and anyway, no-one has asked about them officially," the President told French radio show RMC.

No offers

"The only one who has was Moratti, who a few years ago asked for Hamsik, but I told him we had just arrived in Serie A and I wanted to understand certain things before giving him a major player. "Even if every day there are newspapers and televisions discussing bids for Lavezzi, Hamsik and Cavani, I have not had any offers beyond that from Moratti. "I cannot give Cavani, Lavezzi or Hamsik away also because to settle in Italy it takes a player at least a year. "We have bought [Eduardo] Vargas in the winter market from South America and he is expected to become the great revelation of the coming year. He has done a lot in South America, so we'll see next year if he can shine."
