Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has said that the club are open to selling Alberto Gilardino this summer.
The Italy international, who joined the Italian club in January 2012, has been linked with a move to both the MLS and the Chinese Super League.
New York City FC are reported to be interested in the 31-year-old, while Guangzhou Evergrande are also said to be monitoring the developments.
Preziosi has now admitted that he would not be able to turn down a good offer for the former AC Milan and Fiorentina striker.
"Gilardino? We need to get money," he told reporters. "We are not in a condition to refuse offers."
