This calamitous own goal contributed to De Graafschap's defeat to Feyenoord by three goals to one

Watch as Feyenoord were given a helping hand in beating De Graafschap by a comical Thijs Bouma own goal.

With eight minutes remaining and leading 2-1, Feyenoord won a corner and after a flick on at the near post the ball, goalkeeper Hidde Jurjus diverted the ball against Bouma's thigh.

The ball bounced back towards the De Graafschap goal but with the Jurjus and a man on the line still in the way, it looked as though the danger would be averted only for both players to go for the ball at the same time, resulting in the keeper flicking the ball off the foot of his defender and into the net.
