Support 'Justice' song

Soccer AM is backing a new Hillsborough Charity single to reach Christmas Number One.

Soccer AM is backing the Hillsborough Charity single 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' in its bid to reach Christmas Number One. The track, which sees stars such as Sir Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams and Mel C singing the Hollies classic, will be played during the Premier League goals wrap on this week's show. A number of famous musicians have lined up to appear on the charity song, which was chosen after it was played by Everton at Goodison Park following the release of the HIP report earlier this year. The 'Justice Collective' song was recorded by world famous producer Guy Chambers and will be released on December 17 in time to do battle with the X Factor winner to top the charts this Christmas. And with the likes of Richard Hawley, Mick Jones (The Clash), Peter Hooton (The Farm), Paul Heaton (Beautiful South), Hollie Cook, Jon McClure (Reverend & The Makers), John Power (Cast) and Gerry Marsden (Gerry and the Pacemakers) adding their talents we reckon it's got a great chance. You'll hear the song on Saturday's show and you can check out a teaser clip of the video on YouTube You can also listen to a snippet of the track over on the SOCCER AM MUSIC PAGE
