City keeper only interested in permanent move

Andreas Isaksson turned down a move to Galatasaray because he did not want to leave Manchester City on loan. The Swedish goalkeeper has lost out to Joe Hart in the battle to be City's No.1 for the rest of the season. Isaksson had expressed a wish to leave the Premier League club during the January transfer window and was keen on joining Galatasaray. However, he spurned a move to Turkey as he is only looking to quit the City of Manchester Stadium on a permanent basis.

Tough time

"I want to be bought by a club if I am to move," Isaksson told TV4. "I have considered a loan, but I don't want that. "It collapsed between the clubs and there is not much I can do about that. "It's been a tough time and therefore it feels good to have made a decision. I will do my best, train and play for the reserves."
