Brentford have agreed a £1.8m deal to sign Exeter striker Ollie Watkins, according to Sky sources.
The 21-year-old is having a medical with the Championship club and finalising personal terms.
Sky sources reported last week that Brentford were hoping to land Watkins after signing another striker; the France U21 international Neal Maupay.
Brentford have been on the hunt for new strikers since they sold Scott Hogan in a club-record £12m sale to Aston Villa in January and sold Philippe Hofmann back to Germany earlier this summer.
