League Two promotion chasers Wycombe Wanderers have signed striker Leon Knight from league leaders Milton Keynes Dons.
The proven goalscorer, 25, has joined the Chairboys on an 18-month deal for an undisclosed fee.
Knight will be available to travel with the Wycombe squad to face Mansfield Town on Tuesday night.
Welcoming his signing, Wycombe's boss Paul Lambert told the club's official website: "I've been looking for a striker with bags of pace to complement Scott McGleish and John Sutton and Leon certainly fits the bill.
"He's proved that he can score goals not only at this level but a couple of divisions higher as well. He's just what we needed and I'm delighted to get him."
Knight, who has previously had spells with Chelsea and Swansea City, made 36 appearances for MK Dons, scoring six goals.
But he has not featured since the league leaders' win over Dagenham & Redbridge on 4th December.
His switch comes after Wycombe signed Northern Ireland midfielder Tommy Docherty on a free following his release by QPR.
In further good news, goalkeeper Frankie Fielding was also expected to extend his loan deal from Blackburn Rovers until the end of the season.
Wycombe's managing director Steve Hayes added: "We've brought in three real quality players this week and it proves that we mean business.
"Hopefully the fans will be as excited about the new arrivals as we are."
