Olejnik targets top three spot

Bobby Olejnik has revealed Torquay are not scared to talk about automatic promotion from League Two this season.

The Gulls arrested a run of eight games without a win earlier this season to launch a serious assault on the top three and now sit second in the table with 11 games of the season remaining following Tuesday's 1-0 win at Rotherham. Goalkeeper Olejnik insists he and his team-mates fully believe they are capable of avoiding the play-offs and making the jump into League One automatically. "Everyone around the club is talking about it. I know the gaffer has talked about it," he said. "We talk about it every day in training and we all want to be looking to push forward for automatic promotion. "We look at the play-offs and see them as a safety net. From the position we're in we want to be going up in the top three."
