Exeter manager Paul Tisdale could not hide his frustration after his side suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Oxford on Boxing Day.
The U's stormed into a three goal lead with James Constable scoring twice and Peter Leven also netting before Jamie Cureton scored a consolation penalty for the Grecians, his 16th of the campaign. "It's frustrating for me, the fans and the players as well," Tisdale said. "We have to look at every situation objectively and it is my job to try and alter this trend we have of poor results at home. "Sometimes, when things are disjointed as they were for large parts of today's game, it gives you a simple path ahead. You do have to make some strong changes in your mind and the way you set your team up. It was very frustrating today. "I am not going to make a thing of it. I am certainly very happy with our away form and I don't want to meddle with that. I am trying to put out the same players to be good away and be good at home, but trying to find a solution for those same 11, 12 players that play virtually every week is hard. "Games at home are different to games away in the way that the opposition play and we have to find a way that fits and works for us. It has been a very disappointing first half of the season, but it's not something I am going to give up on."
