Holdsworth looks to positives

Dean Holdsworth was happy to take the positives despite his Aldershot side remaining in the League Two relegation zone.

The Shots created very few chances in the match with Adam Makki having free kick parried away by Chris Lewington in the first half. Danny Hylton had a glorious opportunity to give the visitors the lead 10 minutes into the second half after some poor Dagenham defending but the 23 year-old toe-poked wide of goal. "It was a good point away from home, we need to try and build on this to get momentum to start climbing up the league," said Holdsworth. "It was difficult out there. Credit to the boys, we defended well against a good Dagenham side and we gave a good account of ourselves and we came away with a result. "We didn't fold, we had our chances in the second half and if we can convert we won't be where we are right now. There are plenty of positives to take out of this, a clean sheet, and now we look forward to our next match."
